The Fuji FinePix JX370 digital camera is an entry-level model, with photographers who just want their memories, without understanding how and why you want to record. Many buyers are family documentarian, to complete their albums, and perhaps for the first time users have a digital camera. For this reason, ease of use of the JX370 is a basic design principle.

This does not mean that the Fuji JX370 is not able, however. With 5 times optical zoom, the zoom range JX370 enough for most shooters. The JX370 is 28mm equivalent wide angle for indoor shots should be sufficient but not often a few steps back from the stage, everything is part. At the other end of the series, makes the 140 mm telephoto lens, it is still difficult to frame the subject, contributing to the center of attention. A standard CCD image sensor with a resolution of 14 megapixels of resolution should be sufficient for the typical format printing at home, even after circumcision in order to obtain a beautiful scene.

Unfortunately - but not surprising, given its affordable pricetag - Fuji JX370 lacks any form of mechanical image stabilization. Instead, it provides only what Fujifilm calls "digital image stabilization", which simply increases the ISO speed to use slow shutter speeds, which are sensitive to camera shake can be prevented. This could contribute to the spread of blurred images when you do not mind both digital photos with more of your noise or artifacts you need to remove the transformation of these, but there is no substitute for the true image stabilization. Another concession to the entry level pricetag is the lack of an optical viewfinder or electronic form. Instead, the images are in the market environment as the norm in Most entry-level cameras. Although it is not high resolution or larger than those of more expensive models, the JX370 is a 2.7-inch, 77,000 pixel LCD typical cameras in this category.

Offers in its ease of use, the FinePix JX370 has a "SR Auto mode" (which is "Automatic scene) recognize that one of the six common types of scenes: Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait , Portrait and Backlight. Configured with an understandable emphasis on pictures of people JX370 is SR Auto mode, the camera accordingly for the type of scene identified the photographer is on hand with a design program. Although Sure, you can also manually set the scene mode, if you prefer, with a wide selection of seventeen scene modes to choose from the most common ways, such as fireworks or a child, and less common choices such as natural light. Finally, there is a fully automatic mode that does not try to run the scene detection, and automatic program mode, which allows the photographer to optimize some parameters to your liking.

Like most sets targets FinePix digital cameras JX370 as a contrast AF system, and is the norm these days, which includes a face detection that can automatically humans, while the dominant theme is properly aligned. The JX370 can detect ten faces simultaneously, and may, when someone flashes the admission to warn. There is also a function of CV smile and automatically disconnects when the subject smiles. Maybe a little "less common in this price range is that the autofocus system can detect and track a moving subject as it moves through the image.

The JX370 also some other features that are not particularly common at the entry level, as his point of view mode movement. This allows you to capture three consecutive images, the camera provides evidence on the screen to help properly align with each new record. The results are then automatically assembled into the camera views to get the final image. There is also a natural light + flash mode, which captures the same scene twice - once with a high sensitivity to capture the subject with ambient light sensor (noise and potentially higher), and the second shot with flash (backup there is no uncertainty, but with the least natural feeling which is typical for flash photography). You can then select the image you want to keep and discard the other, or maybe you decide you want to keep both!

In addition to still images, the Fuji FinePix JX370 capture high definition video, with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, commonly known as 720p. Movies can be shot in Motion JPEG format, a format that is very friendly in terms of hardware for playback and editing, not to speak broadly compatible, but require much space, because it is not very effective.

Recognizing that each photographer does not have a computer at home, or just wants to spend time sitting in front of one, if they could drive more photos of Fuji JX370 contains some nice features for viewing, sharing and editing of images after capture. These include the ability to organize, evaluate images (1-5 stars), or take pictures in "photo books" in the device. This function can also order a printed copy of a picture book, and in some stores or online. You can also search for a particular image evaluation, scene mode, type, date, or in some unusual ways. One of them, you can search for personal portraits, photos of couples or groups of plans. Others may simply original photos, videos or still images to change the search. Finally, you can edit the photos to remove red eye after the acquisition, without a computer. If you have a PC, you can also store photos and movies, on Facebook or YouTube are automatically loaded when the unit is located next to the computer is connected. And if you want to get only one track of your images, you can transmit up to 100 thumbnails on the screen at once, if you do not mind squinting.

The Fuji JX370 stores images and movies on Secure Digital, SDHC, including the types of increased capacity. Note, however that is not compatible with the latest generation SDXC cards. Power comes courtesy of a property NP-45A Li-ion battery included with charger BC-45W in the beam produced. Two connection options are available - USB 2.0 high speed data for more photos and movies on your computer and standard definition composite video output. Note that there is no port of high-definition video output, however, if you put an HD display, do not enjoy their resolution unless it accepts SD cards directly, or if you have a compatible viewer. Fuji offers a separate HD player HDP-L1, for this purpose.
