The Canon EOS-1D Mark IV is a direct replacement for the company predecessor 1D Mark III and additions, the camera functionality with improvements in several areas. Perhaps the most important are the use of a new 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, and the use of image processor DIGIC 4 dual, which allows the combination of both an increase in image resolution and therefore an important step in the camera sensitivity range of ISO, while retaining the 1D is 10 frames per second rate.
