Almost three years after the announcement of the E-3 professional D-SLR Olympus E-5, a Four Thirds digital SLR camera, the physical changes of less than its predecessor, but also some significant improvements, including a high-resolution sensor, a swivel LCD screen much larger, a new low-pass filter and the arrangement of the processor, and, of course, the addition of 720p HD video at 30 frames per second.
While the E-3 has been long awaited update of the original E-1 flagship, the Olympus E-5 is more than an incremental update of an already capable four Thirds DSLR. Most updates to make the Olympus E-5 to the market of digital cameras present rate, with a 12.3 megapixel sensor and a 3-inch, 920K LCD points, but there are some established under the skin and a change in the low-pass filter and engine treatment in the E-5. If the E-5, at least the high quality of images we have of the Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras have seen, we will be happy if you go beyond, the better.
The Olympus E-5 has a pentaprism big as most other professional and semi-pro digital SLR, but a part of this size is in pop-up flash. The pentaprism is very large and bright in similar if not identical with x. E-3, sports a 1.15 magnification
The Olympus E-3 viewfinder eleven autofocus points, which appear as black squares until they are illuminated with red LEDs. Green along the bottom. It's a bit "tight to see each image, the status display with my glasses, but there is a nice big rubber to prevent eye protection, my glasses against scratches.
Directly below the E-5 logo on the front of the camera sensor automatic white balance only.
The handle of the Olympus E-5 is virtually the same as the E-3: Very comfortable with a nice dent in the middle finger, and a good handle on the back of the counter. Its surface sticky rubber helps keep the reality is perhaps the area I felt better grip on a DSLR.
