The Leica M8.2 is an updated version of the M8 digital rangefinder camera. The M8.2 is the body of the M8, but includes updates, the company announced earlier this year and many more. The M8 model will continue to be available.
Leica M8.2 includes improvements and updates:
* A new snapshot mode "S". This new automatic mode is useful when the time is short, or for beginners do not know the camera or photography in general. In this mode, the M8.2 control all relevant parameters automatically, such as automatic exposure (aperture priority), automatic ISO speed and white balance automatically.
* To define more precisely over long distances, the viewfinder bright-line was developed, designed to handle larger framing areas.
* The M8.2 is a glass lid for ultra-sapphire LCD screen, scrape the hard way that can be worked with special diamond tools equipped.
* Sport M8.2 a new easy to grasp and especially robust "vulcanite" to exit.
* The shutter is quieter and less vibration when the shutter speed up to 1/8000s 1/4000s was reduced, and the flash sync speed of 1/180s is now.
* The photographer can further reduce the shutter sound is reinforced at the appropriate time, with a new feature of the end of the clamp.
* The camera is equipped with a new compact charger with quick charge feature is able to recharge the battery to 80 percent in about two hours, and that is good for about 400 shots.
